Royal Metal Industries carries the following cold finish steel material.
1018 CS = 1018 CS is a commonly found and frequently used grade of cold finish steel. Its mechanical properties are not very unique, it is easily formed, machined, welded, and fabricated. It is often used in products where surface finish is not important, like drilling equipment.
A1008 CS = A1008 CS is an excellent material for most processing techniques with good formability. This cold finish, low carbon, high strength steel alloy is used for everything from appliances to stamped automobile parts. Typically A1008 comes with a thin layer of oil to prevent rust.
