Material Quality

A36 = The most common used hot-rolled carbon constructional steel is A36. It is easy to weld and has a minimum yield strength of 36k psi. Expanded metal is used in multiple applications like containers, trailers, and safety walls, and other structures where steel and transparency is needed. Expanded Metal is often termed Expanded Sheet or Expanded Steel Mesh.

For larger applications, where heavier gauges are needed to hold or resist additional weight, Royal Metal Industries has access to Grip Strut and Bar Grating.
